It was a busy September for smartphone launches with OEMs bringing tons of new devices to the Indian market to capitalise on the festive season. Brands like Realme, Xiaomi and OnePlus have launched some exciting new phones to entice consumers in India. Apple also brought some new iPhones while dropping the prices of some of its older models that are now quite attractive for consumers in India.

October is expected to be equally busy with brands looking to launch many new phones ahead of Diwali. Today, we are looking at some of the best smartphones available in India that you should consider buying during the ongoing festive season.

Redmi 8A is Xiaomi’s newest entry-level smartphone that offers an all-round package for its budget price. It touts a 6.2-inch Dot Notch display and a large 5,000mAh battery. In addition to this, the phone also sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1600) dewdrop display, a crystal design, Snapdragon 665 SoC and a large 5,000mAh battery. During the ongoing festive season sale on Flipkart, the Realme 5 can be bought for as low as Rs 8,999.

Nokia 4.2 is perhaps the only Android One phone to buy under Rs 10,000. It delivers a pure, stock Android Pie experience and guaranteed monthly security updates. The Nokia 4.2 has also been confirmed to receive Android 10 in Q1 2020, which is something that can’t be said for a lot of other phones in this segment. Additionally, the phone also touts a waterdrop display and a dedicated Google Assistant button.

Xiaomi Mi A3: Rs 12,999:

The Mi A3 is a fine Android One smartphone to buy under Rs 15,000. It runs a MIUI-free Android Pie software and brings a premium glass design with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back.
