The Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, UP (East), Lucknow, has invited application for the posts of 28 vacancy of meritorious Sportspersons in different games, sports as listed below for the following posts.

Eligibility Criteria of Income Tax Department 2021 Recruitment:
Educational Qualification:
1) For Inspector of Income Tax:
(i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
2) For Tax Assistants:
(i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
(ii) Having Data Entry Speed of 8,000 Key depressions per hour
3) For Multi Tasking Staff:
(i) 10th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board or university
Age Limit:
i) For Inspector of Income Tax: 18 to 30 years of age
ii) For Tax Assistant/Multi Tasking Staff: 18 to 27 years of age
Relaxation of Age: 5 years for General/OBC candidates 10 years in case of SC/ST candidates
(As per Govt. of India instructions for meritorious sportspersons)
Note: Cutoff date for all the eligibility criteria, including age and education is 31/12/2020
How to Apply Income Tax Department Recruitment 2021:
Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format addressed to Income Tax Officer (Hq) (Admin). O/o Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, UP (East), Asyakar Bhawan, 5-Ashok Marg, Lucknow-226001 by Registered post only on or before 30/09/2021.
The applicant shall enclose attested copies of the following certificates:
1) Matriculation SSC or equivalent certificate for proof of age.
2) Certificates of Educational qualification.
3) Sports/ games certificates.
4) SC/ST/OBC caste certificate.
5) Copy of Aadhaar Card.
For candidates domiciled in the North Eastern States, Andaman Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala the last date of receiving of application is 08/10/2021.
