1. Assistant Professor
No of Posts: 02 [OBC/MOBC: 1, UR: 01]
Name of the Subjects and Vacancies:
- Zoology: 01 Post [EWS]
- Botany: 01 Post [EWS]
Salary: UGC pay scale of Rs. 57,700/- -1,82,400/-with other allowances as per rule of Assam Government
Educational Qualification:
- Educational Qualification and the selection procedure will be as per Govt. office memorandum No. AHE.239/ 2021/68, dated: 24.01.2022 with NET/SLET/SET as mandatory eligibility condition. Candidates having Ph. D degree in accordance with the UGC (minimum standard and procedure for award of Ph. D degree regulations, 2009) are exempted from the requirements of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/SET. Candidates should not be more than 38 (Thirty Eight) years of age on 01.01.2022 with relaxation as per Govt. norms for SC/ST/OBC/ MOBC/PWD candidates.
- The candidates must be permanent resident of Assam and should know the local language.
2. Laboratory Bearer

Educational Qualification: Class VIII passed
3. Library Bearer
No of Posts: 01 [ST(H): 1]
Educational Qualification: Class VIII passed
4. Grade-IV
No of Posts: 02 [OBC/MOBC: 1, UR: 01]
Educational Qualification: Class VIII passed
Age: Upper Age limit 38 years for Assistant Professor and 40 years for Grade III & IV as on 1st January 2022 with relaxation as per existing govt guidelines
Note: The part of the earlier advertisement relating to Nonteaching staff (Science Stream) vacant posts published in The Assam Tribune and Dainik Asam in its issue dtd.14/08/2020 has been cancelled vide GB resolution no.10 of the meeting dtd. 20/09/2022.

- Applications are invited in prescribed application form published by DHE for the post of Assistant Professor and in standard form for Laboratory Bearer, Laboratory Bearer and Grade-IV Posts from the eligible candidates along with complete bio-data and self-attested copies of all testimonials from HSLC onwards for the above mentioned posts. The application form need to be send to the Principal Morigaon College, P.O. & Dist- Morigaon, Assam, PIN – 782105.
- Application Form along with a demand draft (Nonrefundable) of Rs. 1500.00 (Fifteen hundred) only for Assistant Professor and Rs. 400.00 (Four Hundred) only for Laboratory/ Library Bearer and Grade IV drawn in favour of Principal & Secretary, Morigaon College, Morigaon, payable at HDFC Bank, Morigaon Branch.
- The candidates must have PRC and proficiency in local language.
